Trump threatens to close down social media platforms – Twitter added lately a Fact Checker to Donald Trump tweets. And for the first time, the president’s tweets were flagged with a fact-check warning. Those warnings appeared on the president’s tweets related to Postal Voting, which he described as Fraudulent and said it might be robbed. As Trump tweet claimed mail-in ballots could allow widespread voter fraud.
The President answered back saying Twitter is completely stifling FREE SPEECH, and I as President, will not allow it to happen. And on Wednesday 26th of May he tweeted: “Republicans feel that Social Media Platforms totally silence conservatives voices. We will strongly regulate, or close them down, before we can ever allow this to happen. We saw what they attempted to do, and failed, in 2016. We can’t let a more sophisticated version of that happen again.”
